Mr Reedman made queries as to who owns the land behind The Chequers. This was due to helicopters landing in the field and believes that the pilots are not adhering to their flying licences, they should have written permission to land in the field from the landowner as per the CAA. Cllr Packer informed Mr Reedman that he would visit The Chequers and discuss the issue with the Owner/Manager regarding this issue.
Mr Reedman has also noticed an increase in speeding on Cliff Road since it has been resurfaced and it has now turned into a racetrack.
With the Cost of Living Crisis Mr Reedman suggested that residents would like to use the land behind the Village Hall to grow produce to give something back to the community and would like to know who owns the land.

8. PLAY AREA
The renovations of the play area are due to at the end September.
Grass cutting to be reviewed after the renovation. It was generally considered that a small organisation would best to look after the area next year.
9. JUBILEE TREE
The Jubilee Tree is awaiting delivery it should be received in the next couple of weeks.
The plaque has been purchased.
10. CHURCH YARDS
Belvoir Castle’s solicitors are looking into who owns Cobleas. Cllr Packer to send all the information he has, to assist them in their search. Cllr McCallion will ask how it is coming along. The land appears to have been bequeathed to the village for the use as cemetery however there doesn’t seem to be anything written down stating this fact.
There is still much confusion regarding as to whether the Parish Council is legally allowed to pay for the mowing of the grass in churchyards and cemeteries. Clerk is to research the legality and forward to the Councillors.
11. BUS SHELTER
A quotation has been received for reroofing the bus shelter with the options of either felt £445.55 or fibreglass £945.00. It was agreed to accept the quotation of £445.00 for the felt, proposed by Cllr Remzi, 2nd by Cllr McCallion and unanimously agreed. Clerk to confirm to the contractor.
